Syracuse head coach Dino Babers

Dino Babers and Syracuse took down mighty Clemson Friday night in front of the nation, and the Orange earned the upset with amazing effort on every single snap. The game got started off on a surprising note when Dontae Strickland put Syracuse on the board first with a tremendous 23-yard touchdown (watch here).

Rather than signal the pinnacle for a more than three touchdown underdog, this score set the table for a night of pure ecstasy for Cuse Nation. In the end, the Orange upset the Tigers by the score of 27-24, foreshadowing what should be a wild weekend of college football.

After the game, it was pretty special to see Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney embrace Babers and tell him, “I’m so happy for you.”

After the fans rushed the field and celebrated the monumental win with their team, the Orange ultimately ended up back where they started, in the locker room together.

That’s when Babers capped off the beautiful night with a post-game speech that we won’t soon forget, which led to an amazing scene of celebratory jubilation from the conquering squad.

It doesn’t get any better than that.
