For the first time since suffering a sprained ankle in the team’s Week 3 preseason game, New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. returned to practice on Thursday.
It might have only been in individual drills, but this is the first step in the process to get OBJ back on the field for a game.

The talented receiver sat out New York’s 19-3 blowout loss to the Dallas Cowboys in Week 1. It’s a game that saw Eli Manning and Co. put up 50 yards of offense and just two first downs in the first half. Needless to say, New York needs to get Beckham Jr. back on the field for Monday night’s game against the Detroit Lions.
While it’s not a certainty that he will play, this is most definitely a good sign for the Giants.
