Andrew Luck ruled out of Week 2, which is hardly surprising

Andrew Luck

Indianapolis Colts head coach Chuck Pagano announced Monday that Andrew Luck won’t be playing in Week 2 when they host the Arizona Cardinals.

This is hardly surprising. Luck still has yet to be seen by Pagano throwing the ball, and he hasn’t practiced with the team since last December following surgery in January.

At this point, the only surprise is how incredibly dishonest the Colts have been about Luck’s prognosis and how badly they’ve bungled their situation at quarterback behind him. Scott Tolzien challenged Andy Dalton as the worst quarterback of Week 1, and while Jacoby Brissett did a bit better at first he also was awful overall.

The Colts are going to continue getting blown out for the foreseeable future. The offensive line is a wreck and the defense is awful, too.

At this point, the only question we have is this: Why not just keep Luck out until next season and draft some capable linemen in 2018?
