Bengals’ first-round WR John Ross finally practices

John Ross

After sitting out offseason workouts and most of training camp, John Ross finally got to practice with the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday.

As noted by Katherine Terrell of ESPN, “Ross got two snaps in the first team drill series. Fellow rookie Joe Mixon pitched in back to Ross on the reverse. Yes, he is fast.”

Here’s some photographic proof.

It’s a great sign that the Bengals might actually get to use Ross’ insane, game-breaking abilities when they open the season at home against the Baltimore Ravens on Sept. 10. He has been out of commission following offseason shoulder surgery.

The Bengals shocked a lot of people when they used the No. 9 overall pick to select the former Washington star. He came into the draft with some significant red flags as it pertains to his health. Though, nobody can deny Ross’ ability to take any given play to the house for six, when he’s healthy.

Last year as a member of the Washington football program, Ross caught 81 passes for 1,150 yards and a ridiculous 17 touchdowns.
