While on the ESPY’s Red Carpet on Wednesday, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott made a brash prediction for the 2017 NFL season — not his first bold statement of late.
Prescott was asked who he felt would win the NFC East in 2017. The quarterback made it clear that he sees 2017 going a lot like 2016, with the Cowboys reigning supreme.

It won’t be easy. The NFC East was arguably the NFL’s best division in 2016. With the moves made by some of Dallas’ division rivals (notably the New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles), that’s not likely to change in 2017.
More to the point, comments like this from Prescott give the Giants, Eagles, and Washington Redskins ample bulletin board material.
To be fair, Prescott can’t realistically say anything else when he’s asked such a question. But with comments like this, he better be ready to elevate his game in 2017.
