Tim Tebow’s first game at high Single-A St. Lucie was delayed a day after Tuesday’s action was rained out. All of that waiting apparently did the New York Mets’ prospect well, as he would go on to hit a homer in the second game of Wednesday’s twin bill.
That did not just happen! @TimTebow goes deep …2-run shot for the @stluciemets @CBS12 #tebowmania …call him up @Mets !! pic.twitter.com/KQifaIhDq5

As you can see above, Tebow went opposite field for a two-run shot.
New York made news for its decision to promote the former Heisman winning quarterback fromย low-A Columbia after he hit just .222 with three home runs and 23 RBI in 63 games for the Fireflies. Though, by the looks of his stroke, Tebow surely has no problem finding wood in the minors.
Also important to note, the former Denver Broncos first-round pick has now passed Michael Jordan on the minor league homer list.
HE DID IT! History has been made as Tim Tebow finally passes the GOAT! The torch has been passed! ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ pic.twitter.com/bEmRyP88Ip

That’s no small accomplishment. Or is it?
