Tom Brady showing off ‘maniacal work ethic’ during Patriots OTAS

Tom Brady

The New England Patriots just finished with their seventh day of OTAs, but Tom Brady is already in mid-season form in terms of his preparation and intensity.

“Tom Brady’s maniacal work ethic on display as Jimmy Garoppolo sits,” noted Jeff Howe of The Boston Herald.”

Per the report, Garoppolo was on the field at the beginning of the practice session. Though, he was not able to participate in drills due to a previous injury. Howe said that Garoppolo rode the stationary bike while Brady and third-string quarterback Jacoby Brissett practiced passing.

This observation of course paints Brady in a golden light, which is not a difficult thing to do. The nearly 40 year-old quarterback is practically the spokesperson for the Fountain of Youth, if there actually was such a position.

As for Garoppolo, he will be playing out his final season of his rookie deal signed in 2014. He himself is eager to actually play at some point in his NFL career. It was recently reported that Garoppolo is not likely to sign an extension in New England. Meanwhile, Brady looks like he could easily play for the Patriots for another 10 years.
