The San Antonio Spurs have actually decided to move forward with Patty Mills at the point guard position.

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, San Antonio has re-signed guard Patty Mills to a four-year, $50 million contract.

Mills may very well replace Tony Parker as the Spurs’ starting point guard.

The 28-year-old put up an average of 9.5 points and 3.5 assists per game for the Spurs last season. Though, he struggled significantly after Parker went down to injury during the playoffs.

This is a massive payday for a player in Mills that has not yet proven he is a starter-caliber point guard in the NBA.
