Joel Embiid and Co. were joined by former Washington point guard Markelle Fultz when the Philadelphia 76ers made him the No. 1 overall pick of the 2017 NBA Draft.
Not long after the team took Fultz at the top, Embiid took to Twitter to welcome the rookie to the squad.
Congrats to @MarkelleF and welcome to the team #TheProcess

Embiid also shared a new nickname fans are now giving the Sixers, which is quite honestly amazing.
According to Sixers fans, the new nickname is the "FEDS" (Fultz, Embiid, Dario, Simmons).. the FEDS are coming 🔥🔥🔥#TheProcess

Nobody wants to see the Feds coming, and Sixers fans hope that’s the case with their team in the future as well. And, based on a comment Fultz himself made on Wednesday, fans won’t have to wait long for their team to post a winning season for the first time since the 2004-05 season.
Fans have been trusting The Process since 2013. Perhaps now it has finally come together for Philly and its loyal fans.
