Dak Prescott using platform for cancer research after losing mom to disease

NFL Dallas Cowboys Dak Prescott

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott plans to build on the success his team had last year to be even better in 2017.

During an interview with ESPN, Prescott said that among the several things that motivate him, the most important is his mother’s precious memory. When Prescott was 20 and a sophomore in college, he unfortunately lost his mother to cancer. Prescott considered his mother not only a mom, but his coach, captain, biggest fan, best friend and hero.

The young quarterback uses “Ready. Raise. Rise.” which is an educational platform for cancer research, as a daily inspiration. Prescott’s goal through “Ready. Raise. Rise.” is to raise awareness to amino oncology research.

Per the interview, Prescott wants to challenge all of the Americans out there to make a difference by going to readyraiserise.com and take action. The current goal of “Ready. Raise. Rise.” is to reach 150,000 points by July 31, 2017 to help spread awareness.

Prescott taking just a few moments of his time to share this heartwarming story might just make a difference in a loved one’s life.
