WATCH: Did Spurs player go after Stephen Curry’s knee?

The San Antonio Spurs continue to be in over their heads in the team’s Western Conference Finals matchup against the Golden State Warriors.

Saturday night’s Game 3 affair in San Antonio was no different. Minus Kawhi Leonard and Tony Parker, the Spurs lost by double digits. They now find themselves in a 3-0 series hole. It’s a deficit no team has come back from in the history of the NBA Playoffs.

While the undermanned Spurs continue to play hard, we now have to start wondering whether certain players on Gregg Popovich’s squad will look to atone for the seemingly dirty play from Zaza Pachulia in Game 1 that sent Leonard to the bench.

During Saturday’s blowout loss, it sure looked like that aspect of the game might have come into play. Check out this play from reserve Spurs center Dewayne Dedmon.

It sure looks like Dedmon was going for Stephen Curry’s knee right there. Look at how the two-time reigning MVP’s knee buckled after a screen from Dedmon.

We’re not too sure if anything will come of this. What we do know is that the NBA is sure to take a look at the play. Remember, LaMarcus Aldridge seemingly took a cheap shot at Kevin Durant in Game 2 as well (watch here).

Sure some are upset about how Leonard’s injury transpired. But that doesn’t make what the Spurs have done in each of the past two games any better.

Golden State took Game 3 by the score of 120-108. It was the team’s 11th consecutive win to open the playoffs and its 26th win in 27 games dating back to the regular season.

Game 4 is Monday night in San Antonio.
