Suspended Browns receiver Josh Gordon, agent part ways

Josh Gordon

In earlier news on Thursday, the NFL denied the reinstatement application for Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon.

We now have another detail regarding Gordon’s current state of affairs, per ESPN’s Josina Anderson.

The exact reasoning for the break up here is not known, though Gordon has violated the NFL’s substance abuse policy multiple times in the past. He has been suspended a total of four times as a result.

The Pro Bowl receiver has not played a single football game since the 2014 season. Whether Gordon seeks another agent to replace the one that quit “two weeks ago” remains to be seen.

According to our earlier report, Gordon will be able to apply for reinstatement again this fall, should he wish to continue to fight to play in the league.
