Here’s something fantasy owners and fans were dreading.
Toronto Blue Jays MVP third baseman Josh Donaldson will more than likely be placed on the disabled list following a recurring injury in his calf.

He has been dealing with the injury since last weekend and strained it once again Thursday night after rounding first base and began limping towards second.
At the moment, it doesn’t look serious. Though, it’s something that Toronto didn’t want to see linger for the long-term. Knowing Donaldson, he tried to play through it and his body just wouldn’t cooperate.
Through his abbreviated season this year, the 31-year-old is slashing at .310/.429/.586.
