Anyone who has heard Nick Mangold interviewed or has talked to him in person, knows full well that he’s a character with a tremendous personality. Self-deprecating humor and an ability to make fun of himself is included in this.
So when the seven-time Pro Bowl center found out he was released by the New York Jets earlier this week, it shouldn’t be considered a surprise that he decided to troll himself.

We’re actually just happy that Mangold was pouting instead of showing himself to be scared on a ride at Disneyland. That likely would have turned some potential suitors off.
Maybe this successful attempt at humor is Mangold’s way of showing he’s excited to no longer be on the New York Jets. That could definitely be it.
Mangold, who has been the best center in the NFL over the past decade, will surely find a solid free-agent market when he decides to go through visitis. He’s started all 164 games in which he has appeared during what might end up being a Hall of Fame career.
