The New York Giants added a powerful weapon on offense when they signed veteran wide receiver Brandon Marshall aboard. And It appears he and fellow wideout Odell Beckham Jr. are bonding quite nicely.
So much so, that Marshall looks to be eager to subtly take on the role of a mentor to OBJ.
Marshall says he "has a great rapport already" with Odell Beckham. Thinks very highly of him and excited to play with him…

Marshall on Odell – "I just want him to stay on the track that he's on and continue to mature." wants to assist him "organically" if he can

Marshall is nine years Beckham’s senior and has had a colorful career filled ups and downs over the past 12 seasons in the NFL.
He therefore could help to bring a certain maturity and leadership to the Giants locker room. This is something that could benefit Beckham in the long term, if he’s willing to listen.
Marshall agreed to terms with the Giants because he feels that is the team that can get him a championship. If he can assist in other areas during his tenure in New York, then all the better. As for Beckham in particular, he is an amazing talent. But, he could stand to mature in several areas, both on and off the field.
It will be interesting to see how OBJ and Marshall engage on the field together once organized team activities kick off this spring.
