Quarterback needy teams sharpening up their pencils to make offers for Tyrod Taylor can reportedly look elsewhere, as the Buffalo Bills plan to keep him.

Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reports it’s a re-worked deal keeping him in Buffalo.

The Buffalo Bills have played out the string here as it pertains to Taylor. He was set to have a $27.5 million, fully guaranteed option kick into effect if he’s still with the club when the new league year begins on Thursday, March 9.
There have been many reports that the Bills aren’t opposed to keeping Taylor. There have been just as many suggesting he’s as good as gone.
However, given the fact that new offensive coordinator Rick Dennison reportedly wanted to keep him around, it make sense that the Bills are keeping him. He’s been much better than people realize the past year and is a much better option than free agency options or the rookies coming into the league this year.
The past two seasons in Buffalo, he completed 62.6 percent of his passes for 6,058 yards with 37 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.
