You can buy Colts vs. Jets MNF ticket for less than cost of a beer

Jets

There have been some really good prime-time matchups the past few weeks. But we aren’t anticipating a good game this Monday night when the New York Jets host the Indianapolis Colts.

Nowhere is this seen with more clarity than how cheaply the tickets are going for the game. No joke, you can buy a ticket to watch the upcoming Colts vs. Jets game for less than the cost of a beer.

As reported by ESPN’s Rich Cimini, the tickets for the upcoming “Monday Night Football” game are going for lower than any game that has ever been contested at MetLife Stadium.

“The fans apparently have had enough of the Jets. Tomorrow night’s game against the Colts is the cheapest ticket since they started playing at MetLife Stadium in 2010, according to TicketIQ.com. Tickets start at $5, with field-level options at $20. A beer will cost more than an upper-level seat.”

This shouldn’t be too shocking. The Jets have won just three games all year, and only one at home. No wonder the home fans don’t want to watch. And it’s not like the Colts are a huge draw right now, heading into the game with a record of 5-6.

Perhaps the game will be surprisingly fun to watch. If so, those who paid dirt-cheap rates to get into MetLife Stadium should have a blast.
