Bryce Petty: ‘Play QB they said, it will be fun, they said’

New York Jets quarterback Bryce Petty found himself hit to the ground on a never-ending loop in Saturday night’s loss to the Miami Dolphins. Petty was sacked a total of three times and under consistent pressure throughout the game.

In fact, Petty had to exit the game with a chest injury after being sandwiched in between two Dolphins defenders.

In taking to Instagram following the 34-13 loss, the former Baylor standout figured his response to taking such a horrible beating should include comedy.

Good on Petty for having a sense of humor here.

Though, the play that saw Petty get injured is cringe-worthy.

It’s too early to tell whether Petty will be okay for next week’s game. Let’s just hope if he is on the field, his offensive line actually does better in its attempt not to get him killed.
