Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck has been dealing with injuries to both his elbow and throwing shoulder throughout the season.
This has forced Luck from practice throughout the majority of the season, including earlier this week.
With Indianapolis in must-win mode against the Minnesota Vikins this upcoming Sunday, Luck himself returned to practice on Thursday. This is a clear indication hat he will be able to play.
Even better news for the Colts. Owner Jim Irsay also indicated on Thursday that he doesn’t expect Luck to have to undergo any surgery during the offseason.

There had been some speculation that he might have to have his throwing shoulder surgically repaired. Irsay threw that possibility out the window completely on Thursday.
At 6-7 on the season, Indianapolis pretty much needs to win out in order to sniff the playoffs. That starts Sunday against an elite-level Minnesota Vikings defense. At the very least, the team knows it won’t have to throw Scott Tolzien out there. We know how that turned out on Thanksgiving.
