After scratching and clawing their way back against the Denver Broncos at home, the New Orleans Saints watched a game-winning opportunity slip right through their fingers.

Brandin Cooks had just caught a ridiculously difficult pass between two Broncos defenders for a touchdown to tie the game up at 23-23 with just over a minute remaining on the clock in the fourth quarter.

All they needed was an extra point to go up against the defending Super Bowl champs.

That did not happen.

Instead, Will Parks ran back a blocked extra point for two points, giving Denver the lead and the 25-23 win after New Orleans failed to recover its onside kick attempt.
