Steve Kerr compares Donald Trump’s election to ‘The Jerry Springer Show’

Over half of America might not be happy with the results of Tuesday’s presidential election. But at least the description Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr gave for it didn’t play out.

Kerry, who has at times spoken up about the societal issues in the United States, compared the election itself to “The Jerry Springer Show.”

No, really. That’s exactly what he did.

“The whole process has left us feeling kind of disgusted and disappointed,” Kerr said about the election of Donald Trump, via SF Gate. “I thought we were better than this. I thought ‘The Jerry Springer Show’ was ‘The Jerry Springer Show.’”

At the end of a long night, Republican presidential candidate Donald J. Trump was elected the 45th President of the United States, defeating Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton in the electoral college. Clinton won the popular vote.

Kerr is not alone in the sports world when it comes to speaking out about the results of the election. He, however, is the strongest in terms of condemning what transpired Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning.
