ESPN’s live broadcast reported the NFL is aware of the issue and working to put an end to the distracting green dots dancing across the field.
It’s got to be distracting, suddenly encountering a green flash in your field of vision while scanning the defense. Osweiler struggles to do that under the best of circumstances. Against Oakland’s defensive front, he’s been getting pressured early and often.
As such, it’s not surprising that Osweiler has had his issues passing the ball. That said, he has made a few big plays to go along with some bad ones. At the half, the Texans quarterback has 108 yards passing with one touchdown and one interception.
