Dez Bryant on Tony Romo: He’s throwing ‘missiles’

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo is apparently doing everything it takes to get back to 100 percent health.

For what it is worth, this observation was noted by Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant following Thursday’s practice.

Apparently Romo is looking pretty sharp. Try as he might, it is going to take a lot for the veteran signal caller to have a shot at regaining his starting job.

The Dallas Cowboys have already decided that rookie quarterback Dak Prescott will start Sunday against the Cleveland Browns. They claim Romo is not quite back to being healthy enough to be under center.

This basically equates to the Cowboys sticking with the hot hand at quarterback. Prescott has been brilliant and the Cowboys are leading the NFC East with a 6-1 record. They are not likely to tamper with near perfection at this point in the season.

Regarding Romo, it is great to learn that his arm is still in excellent working condition, according to Bryant. As far as those abs, though, Romo must have shed some weight.

It was not too long ago this unflattering picture of Romo and his “dad bod” was circulating about on social media.

Nevertheless, the Cowboys will look to record what should be an easy win against a hapless Browns squad on Sunday.
