LeBron James shouts out Ezekiel Elliott after 60-yard TD

Ezekiel Elliott

It’s becoming quite absurd what the Dallas Cowboys have been able to accomplish on the young season. Forced to start a rookie backfield in Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott, the Cowboys find themselves on the verge of going 4-1 on the season.

They are absolutely laying the smack down on the Cincinnati Bengals. It started with Prescott dominating through the air en route to a 21-0 halftime lead.

Then in the third quarter, Elliott did his thing.

As the football world starts to fully recognize how dynamic this young buck is, LeBron James continues to pay attention.

In fact, the reigning NBA Finals MVP gave Elliott a nice little shout out following his touchdown.

LeBron fancies himself a die-hard Cowboys fan. He’s also a native son of Ohio, where Elliott played his college ball.

So this shouldn’t be surprising.

What is surprising is exactly what Elliott has done during the early part of his rookie season. He entered Week 5 leading the NFL in rush attempts and rushing yards.

Add in 128 rushing yards in just over a half of football thus far on Sunday, and he’s only adding to this.
