Has DeSean Jackson taught us nothing? For reasons that defy logic, every now and again a football player will drop the ball before scoring a touchdown. That’s exactly what happened Saturday for Clemson wide receiver Ray-Ray McCloud, who flubbed a touchdown on a punt return for this very reason.

McCloud took the punt return 74 yards, only to make the critical mental error at a key moment in the game.
Shockingly, No. 2-ranked Clemson was up by just three points against Troy heading into halftime. A bit of better judgement by McCloud would have helped the Tigers with a bit of much-needed momentum for the second half.
