The Carolina Panthers and San Francisco 49ers are engaged in a surprisingly action-packed game in the first half. Trailing 7-3, the 49ers went ahead when Blaine Gabbert and Torrey Smith connected on a 28-yard touchdown pass.

The good news for San Francisco is that the touchdown put the 49ers up 10-7. The bad news is that the lead was very short lived. Cam Newton and Greg Olsen connected on a 78-yard touchdown pass on the first play of the ensuing possession.
Interestingly, this marked the 12th straight game in which Gabbert has thrown a touchdown pass. He’s second among active players on this list, behind Russell Wilson, who has done it in 17 straight games.
