Paging all Kirk Cousins fans! Head on down to Berryville, Va. this fall for a chance to get lost as you explore the Washington Redskins quarterback.
Wayside Farm is holding its annual Family Fun Festival, which is highlighted this year by a humongous corn maze that features Cousins and his signature “You like that?” catch phrase.
Who knew Cousins had such devoted fans after just one full season of starting action under his belt?
The quarterback has a lot of pressure on his shoulders this season to succeed.
He’s been secured by the franchise on a one-year prove-it franchise tag worth nearly $20 million. His final 10 games last year were magnificent, as he threw 23 touchdowns compared to just three interceptions, leading Washington to a 7-3 record and a playoff berth.
That said, everyone knows Washington isn’t sure Cousins can replicate that stretch, including the quarterback himself. He recently expressed a rather sober sentiment about his value to the team that showed he gets what’s at stake for the 2016 season (more on that here).
Hopefully the folks at Wayside Farm won’t be feeling regret for having devoted such a large amount of time, energy and resources when Washington gets the season kicked off this September.
