Jim Harbaugh now has 26 satellite camps scheduled for June

Jim Harbaugh might want to scale back his satellite camp push. Just a tad.

As reported by Nick Baumgardner of MLive.com, Harbaugh now has 26 satellite camps scheduled in 15 states for the month of June, which only has 30 days.

Harbaugh has a tendency to burn out after a few years, wherever he’s coaching. Perhaps this is just a glimpse into why he tends to run aground. And the craziest part is that it’s not Harbaugh who gets burned out. It’s everyone around him.

Harbaugh himself obviously won’t make it to every camp, and his staff will absolutely need to be split up to accommodate them all.

The NCAA reinstated these camps after first deeming them illegal. Obviously, given the gaudy amount of camps being shoved into such a short amount of time, there is plenty of interest around the nation for them. With this in mind, even though they benefit Harbaugh and Michigan, it’s clear the camps serve a positive purpose for the kids who’ll attend.

What has yet to be determined is whether or not it’s good for Harbaugh’s long-term solvency at Michigan.
