It’s starting to become readily apparent that Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban just loves to hear himself talk.
The always entertaining executive is now making waves around the NBA following comments he made regarding Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook on Monday.

Cuban sure does have a loose definition of “super star,” a word that has pretty much defined Westbrook’s career in Oklahoma City.
Likely to finish second to Stephen Curry in the NBA MVP voting this season, Westbrook averaged 23.5 points, 7.8 rebounds, 10.4 assists and 2.0 steals per game during the regular year.
It was the fifth time in six seasons that the UCLA product has earned an All-Star appearance.
Cuban’s comments come on the heels of Oklahoma City looking to close the Mavericks out in their first-round playoff series.
We aren’t entirely sure, but it doesn’t seem like Cuban should be giving Westbrook any extra motivation for the remainder of the series, however long that lasts.
The guard is averaging 23.5 points and a ridiculous 11.8 assists in the series. If those aren’t “super star” stats, we aren’t entirely sure what are.
Next time, Cuban should probably just continue to direct his off-handed remarks to the league office. All that has cost him in the past is money, something he has a lot of.
