Washington to hand out ‘You like that?’ rally towels for Wild Card game

Kirk Cousins Redskins

We all know Washington’s quarterback Kirk Cousins likes that, but now fans can get into the spirit by waving their very own “You Like That?!” rally towels at Sunday’s Wild Card playoff game against the Green Bay Packers.

Early-arriving fans will receive this bold red-and-white towel that includes the team’s logo.

Cousins coined the catch-phrase after Washington rallied and made the biggest comeback in the team’s franchise history against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 7.

Prior to that 24-point comeback, per NFL.com, Cousins had thrown 24 touchdowns compared to 27 interceptions while with Washington. Including and since that game, he’s been a changed man. Cousins has tossed 23 touchdowns and only three picks in 10 contests.

In fact, Cousins has been so good that in the final eight games of the season he finished with a league-high 126.1 passer rating. According to NFL Media’s Kevin Patra, that’s the third-best passer rating for any quarterback ever in the last eight games of a 16-game season.

Cousins’ seven 300-plus-yard games and 4,166 passing yards also set single-season franchise records.

Washington enters its playoff matchup against the Packers as one of the NFL’s hottest teams, and the fans will be waving their souvenir towels if Cousins gives them more football to like.
