Detroit held Aaron Rodgers and Co. to 78 total yards and just six first downs through the first 30 minutes of play on their way to a 17-0 halftime lead. Rodgers was running for his life most plays, was sacked twice and threw an interception to Glover Quin, while Green Bay’s running backs managed just 16 yards on 15 carries and James Starks lost a fumble.
It was a miserable first half of play for a team in the midst of a miserable stretch in which they’ve already lost four of five games.
Another horrible half of play will certainly result in another loss and would give the Minnesota Vikings, already up by one game, even more room atop the NFC North.
