LeSean McCoy: ‘I’m not playing until I’m 100-percent’

LeSean McCoy could be out for more than one week as he recovers from a hamstring injury.

Speaking on Friday, the Buffalo Bills running back made it clear he’s tired of playing without a full deck of cards. The injury has clearly been evident on the playing field, as McCoy has managed just 146 rushing yards on 43 carries, averaging a paltry 3.4 yards per carry.

McCoy also acknowledged rookie Karlos Williams, saying “Karlos has been carrying the run game, I haven’t, he has.” He also said he suffered a setback on Thursday and made it clear this could be more than a one-weak hiatus.

With Williams coming on strong for the Bills, this isn’t really going to impact the team. What it does highlight, however, is that perhaps Chip Kelly did know the running back was wearing down. This looks like it could drag on for a while, so fantasy owners might consider hitting the waiver wire soon. If Williams is available, grab him while he’s hot.
