Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson took part in a Q&A session with pastor Miles McPherson at The Rock Church in San Diego CA. One of the topics brought up in the 45-minute interview with Wilson, who is a man of strong faith, was his love life with with Grammy-nominated recording artist Ciara.
Wilson candidly spoke on the subject, indicating that he and Ciara are practicing abstinence until they get married. This hot topic of conversation takes place at approximately 23 minutes into this interview.

Proving that he is still human, Wilson did encourage everyone to pray for him in this regard.
Wilson also went on to say that he knew he would end up with Ciara after the first time he laid eyes on her. This was many years before the two actually met. We’re not sure where Wilson’s ex-wife, who was his college sweetheart, fits into the that statement.
Wilson filed for divorce in April of 2014.
Once Wilson and Ciara tie the knot, we may wonder if they’ll take on a practice similar to that of Aaron Rodgers and Olivia Munn. Munn boldly declared that she and Rodgers refrain from sex on game days because there is other stuff to focus on. This practice appears to be working out considering Rodgers was the top performing quarterback of 2014.
It will be interesting to take note on Wilson’s performance (on the field), once the couple makes things official.
