LSU made the first big play of Sunday’s game against Miami. Running back Nick Brossette got great blocking up front, found a hole and sprinted for a 50-yard touchdown to give the Tigers a 10-3 lead.

The quarter certainly went well for the Tigers. The same can not be said for the Hurricanes.
In fact, it couldn’t have gone much worse. On the possession before the touchdown run, Brad Baxa missed a 45-yard field goal. Additionally, Miami’s Trajan Bandy was ejected for targeting.
