On Sunday, a Facebook post by “Bolt Usain (Lighting Bolt)” went viral. It was a request for people to donate money to help a mother treat her sick son.
The real Usain Bolt quickly shot it down, however, as “fake,” and the post was quickly pulled down by Facebook.

While it wouldn’t be surprising if Bolt really had attempted to help someone in need, this post was clearly not a viable effort by the Olympic gold-medal winner.
It just goes to show, you can’t always believe what you see on the Internet.
