Remember when our parents told us not to play with fireworks growing up? Well, it appears that New York Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul did not heed that call.
According to Andy Slater of WINZ in Miami, FL. Pierre-Paul “severely” injured his hand during a fireworks accident this weekend:

Details are still coming in regarding the situation, but it doesn’t look to be too good for the two-time Pro Bowl performer. The former first-round pick has yet to sign his $14.8 million franchise tag tender for next season. Depending on the seriousness of the injuries, his 2015 season could be in question.
More than that, let’s all hope Pierre-Paul’s injuries are not too significant.
