Joe Flacco on Browns defense: ‘I recognize Joe Haden. Not really anyone else’

The Cleveland Browns are a hot mess. Following a 29-10 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles to open the regular season, it’s looking like another lost year.

Now with Robert Griffin III out for an extended period of time, that’s only magnified further.

Speaking about his team’s upcoming game against Cleveland, Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco doesn’t seem to recognize anyone he’s going up against this upcoming Sunday.

Flacco would be hard-pressed to recognize the Browns’ defense right now. Cleveland boasts nine new starters on that side of the ball, including five first or second-year players.

That was on full display in a blowout loss to Philadelphia in Week 1.

Led by rookie Carson Wentz, the Eagles put up 23 first downs and 403 total yards of offense.

Needless to say, Flacco shouldn’t be too concerned over these news faces on what has to be considered a bad defensive unit. Whether that leads to a good performance from the quarterback remains to be seen.
