The Kansas City Chiefs didn’t have a selection in the first round of the 2018 NFL draft, but the league still had a jersey ready in case the franchise traded up. After the Chiefs stayed put, though, commissioner Roger Goodell made sure it didn’t go to waste.
Chiefs reporter Matt McMullen shared a picture of Goodell with a Kansas City season-ticket holder, his son and a tremendous gift.

While the first round was a memorable event for 32 players who celebrated on stage, the young Chiefs fan also had an unforgettable night.
And, hey, this probably helped Goodell leave the stadium on a positive note after being relentlessly booed throughout the opening day of the draft.
