Based on the insane amount of fans who watched practice Sunday night, it’s safe to say championship fever is still running hot for die-hard Philadelphia Eagles fans.
The organization held their first open practice at Lincoln Financial Field Sunday night, and fans came flocking. It’s worth pointing out that this was the first time fans could watch the Eagles at the Linc since the NFC Championship Game.

Now check out just how excited these fans got about 30 minutes into practice as each section battled to see who could do the loudest E-A-G-L-E-S chant.

This is pure insanity. Glorious, incredible insanity.
The mood here is like if you injected every single #Eagles fans with steroids and told them they had to chant like their life depended on it

It’s literally raining NON-STOP Eagles chants here at practice. It’s like 95 degrees on a Sunday night in early August. I’m not sure how people can breathe. #Eagles fans are the absolute best.

What’s really funny about this is that some of the team’s top players weren’t even practicing during this session. Guys like Nick Foles and Zach Ertz sat out, resting, but one person in particular was on hand to pump up the crowd in a big way.

On that note, it’s interesting that a report emerged Sunday indicating that Carson Wentz might not even play a single snap this preseason. This means the Eagles fans attending Sunday night’s practice could be pretty privileged to watch him now.

Regardless, it’s clear that the mood in Philly is still amazingly positive. And quite honestly, fans have good reason to be excited, as the Eagles have all the tools necessary to repeat in 2018.
