The Minnesota Twins have been hitting long balls at a historic clip. They entered Saturday’s action against the Texas Rangers with 165 homers, one shy of last season’s mark.

With Minnesota up 5-4 in the eighth inning, Marwin Gonzalez took Shawn Kelley deep to match the Twins’ total from last season.

We’re not even at the All-Star Break yet, ladies and gents.

This represented Gonzalez’ 10th homer of the season. He’s now the 10th members of the Twins’ with double-digit homers.

Minnesota is also now in pace for 306 homers, which would crush the New York Yankees all-time mark of 267 from last season.
