Down 24-6 to Pitt in the third quarter Friday, Syracuse needed a spark. Taj Harris provided a huge boost and stunned the Panthers in the process.
On 3rd-and-9 from their own 6-yard line, the Orange caught lightning in a bottle when Clayton Welch found Harris on a prayer that was answered.
Ninety-four yards later, the Orange were suddenly right back in the game. Prior to this monstrous play, they had gained just 129 total yards of offense. Needless to say, this reception bumped up their per-play average in a big way.
