Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry had a completely forgettable first quarter on Monday against the San Antonio Spurs. But he finished it in memorable fashion.

With time running out, Curry heaved a shot from just inside of his own three-point line. It went in.

We’d say that it’s surprising but really, it’s only mildly so. We wouldn’t say that Curry makes these shots on a routine basis. But much like Aaron Rodgers completing a Hail Mary, it’s certainly something we’ve seen before.

What makes this one particularly unique is that Curry was ice cold to that point. Before this shot, he was 1-for-8 with only three points.

It just goes to show how fast things can change.
