The Los Angeles Lakers have helped other teams cure a lot of ills over the past several weeks. Having lost seven of their past 10 heading into Tuesday’s home game, The Oklahoma City Thunder are no different.
Taking on a Lakers team without LeBron James has proven to be a festive moment for teams around the Association. Tuesday night saw Russell Westbrook do his best to make sure this was the case for Oklahoma City.
The dude put up 16 points, 14 rebounds and 18 assists in just three quarters of play. It culminated in this breakaway dunk towards the end of the third quarter.
We could very easily get into how embarrassing this is for the Lakers. Instead, let’s put a positive spin on it. The season is almost over.
As it relates to Oklahoma City, the hope here is that Westbrook’s performance will help his team head into the playoffs on a high note.
