Richard Sherman 49ers

It was just a week ago Sunday that the sports world was forever changed. Los Angeles Lakers star and future Hall of Famer Kobe Bryant and his daughter were among nine killed in a helicopter accident in Southern California.

Since Kobe’s tragic passing at the young age of 41, the NFL world has joined in with the NBA to pay its respects.

That now includes San Francisco 49ers cornerback Richard Sherman, who showed up to Hard Rock Stadium in preparation for Super Bowl LIV sporting a Kobe No. 8 jersey.

Sherman talked at length last week about Bryant’s death and the friendship they shared. This has obviously hit him hard.

Sherman is not the only member of the 49ers to pay tribute to Bryant. Check out these awesome cleats wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders will be sporting for Sunday’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Great stuff.
