Baltimore Ravens offensive guard Kevin Zeitler and his wife recently welcomed their second child into the world, per ESPN.com’s Jamison Hensley, and before their daughter Parker Lou arrived on Thursday, Sara Zeitler recorded video of her husband getting some extra practice in.

That’s right. Kevin Zeitler was working on his pass-blocking technique as his wife was in labor. Sara Zeitler posted the video footage as proof:

You have to admire the dedication from the 31-year-old veteran, who signed a three-year, $22.5 million contract this offseason to play in Baltimore. Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is certainly going to get a kick out of seeing the video.

Zeitler is coming off a bit of a down year with the New York Giants, who abruptly released him back in March. It took barely over a week until the Ravens officially scooped him up off the open market.

Baltimore’s offensive line has been in flux of late. Eight-time Pro Bowl guard Marshal Yanda retired after the 2019 campaign, and the Ravens executed a blockbuster trade to send offensive tackle Orlando Brown Jr. to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Stud left tackle Ronnie Stanley is coming off a season-ending injury, and with Brown demanding a trade because he wanted to play on the left side, Baltimore added ex-Pittsburgh Steelers tackle Alejandro Villanueva to play right tackle.

If Stanley is healthy, and Zeitler and Villanueva play to their potential, the Ravens’ offense shouldn’t miss a beat in 2021. At least for Zeitler, he seems to be making the most of every minute leading up to training camp and the regular season.
