WATCH: Pirates’ Starling Marte joins Barry Bonds in historic club

The Pittsburgh Pirates organization has been blessed with a history of incredible outfielders and on Saturday, All-Star outfielder Starling Marte joined some exclusive company.

After drilling the 99th home run of his career in the sixth inning, Marte drilled his second solo home run of the day in the eighth inning for No. 100 in his MLB career.

Marte now joins Barry Bonds as the only two players in franchise history to hit 100-plus home runs and steal 200-plus bases during their time in Pittsburgh.

The 30-year-old seemed determined to reach the incredible achievement at the iconic Wrigley Field as he already has three home runs in the first two days of the series.
