Philadelphia Phillies star outfielder Bryce Harper is locked and loaded during the early stages of Spring Training.
Just ask Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Hector Noesi, who gave up an absolutely massive blast to Harper during the first inning of Wednesday’s Grapefruit League game.
Harper drilled an offering over the right field fence for a two run homer. It cleared the entire stadium and made its way on to the freeway.
Talk about an absolute bomb from the former NL MVP. Though, he was not done there. Harper would go on to homer later in the game, too.
Philadelphia is going to need the high-priced Harper to up his game big time this season after struggling to an extent in his first year with the team.
So far, so good.
