New England Patriots star receiver Julian Edelman is working hard to get ready for the 2020 NFL season — his first ever without Tom Brady.

In a short video posted by B/R Gridiron Wednesday, we’re given a glimpse into the day-to-day work that he’s putting in to make it happen. In particular, check out the crazy drill he does with playing cards to work on hand-to-eye coordination.

Edelman made that look pretty easy, but we’re betting it’s not. The hallmark of any elite athlete is how they make difficult tasks look basic.

As for why Edelman is training so hard right now, he recently shared he’s extra salty to prove the Patriots aren’t going to suck without Brady. Whether they can prove him right remains to be seen.
