Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes continues to be a touchdown machine. This time, he’s doing it against the NFL’s No. 1 defense in the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Mahomes spread the ball around with perfection on the drive, mixing in throws to five different receivers and completing 6-of-7 passes for 46 receiving yards on the drive.
Then on first-and-goal, Mahomes rolled out of the pocket then took off and dove into the end zone for his second rushing touchdown of the season and his 16th total touchdown.
The 23-year-old shredded some of the worst defenses in the league to start the season, but he is now showing he can excel against the best defensive units as well.
In fact, Mahomes’ rushing touchdown is the first touchdown allowed in the first half by Jacksonville’s defense this season.
