It did not go too swimmingly for the Green Bay Packers early in their game against the Detroit Lions on Monday.

Down 13-0 in the second quarter, Aaron Rodgers seemed to hit star running back Aaron Jones on a long touchdown. Jones beat Lions linebacker Christian Jones in every possible way.

Unfortunately, the running back dropped what would have been the easiest touchdown of his career.

The still frames of Jones’ drop makes it look even more embarrassing.

That’s just a whole bunch of ouch right there. Jones entered Thursday’s game having recorded eight touchdowns in five games this season. He was apparently looking forward to a ninth before securing the ball.

The good news for Green Bay? It ended up scoring later on the same drive.
